Whale Watching

Whale Watching

When: August 20th from 1:30-4:30 p.m.

Where: Dock 52, 13552 Fiji Way in Fisherman’s Village

Why: It is Ocean Inspiration week at Kids Collective and we learn about marine life.

What to expect:

  • Gray Whales: Every year the California Gray Whales migrate up and down the western coast of North America from the summer feeding grounds in the Bering Sea to the winter grounds of the Baja California lagoons and back. Come see these spectacular and gentle giants for yourself!
  • Dolphins: We see many types of playful dolphins on the trip including common, Risso’s, and bottle-nosed!
  • Other marine life including porpoises, sea birds, seals, sea lions and sea otters.

Be prepared! As with any trip to sea, please wear flat shoes and bring a hat, sunglasses, sun block and a light jacket or sweatshirt. It’s a 3 hours boat trip, please bring water and snack with you.

Note: Please arrive earlier at least 10 – 15 min before. We found a great deal on Groupon, but you can also get tickets online http://mdrsf.net
