Date Night Fundraiser
September 5th – First day of school
Our first day of school is Tuesday the 5th!
Teacher Megan will start yoga at 9 AM. I recommend getting there at 8:30 so your child has time to play outside, say goodbys etc. before yoga starts. The afternoon group starts at 1 pm. M/W.F students, school will start on Wednesday for you and Baila Baila music will begin at 9 am for morning group.
Trick or Treat Parade
October 31 Kids Collective is going to a Trick or Treat walk along the Venice Canals. We will meet at 5:30 P.M. at the Linnie Canal Park. It is a small park near the Venice canals offering children’s playground equipment & green space. Read more
Pumpkin Patch
Whale Watching
When: August 20th from 1:30-4:30 p.m.
Where: Dock 52, 13552 Fiji Way in Fisherman’s Village
Why: It is Ocean Inspiration week at Kids Collective and we learn about marine life.
What to expect:
- Gray Whales: Every year the California Gray Whales migrate up and down the western coast of North America from the summer feeding grounds in the Bering Sea to the winter grounds of the Baja California lagoons and back. Come see these spectacular and gentle giants for yourself!
- Dolphins: We see many types of playful dolphins on the trip including common, Risso’s, and bottle-nosed!
- Other marine life including porpoises, sea birds, seals, sea lions and sea otters.
Be prepared! As with any trip to sea, please wear flat shoes and bring a hat, sunglasses, sun block and a light jacket or sweatshirt. It’s a 3 hours boat trip, please bring water and snack with you.

International Day Celebration
When: June 10th from 11:30-12:30
Where: Kids Collective yard
Why: We’ve travelled the globe this year, visiting every continent. We
wanted to celebrate our journey as well as our family heritages and hence
our first ever International Day! This will be a great way to celebrate our
diverse community, see, hear, touch, taste feel all the learning we have
experienced as well as sample wonderful dishes from around the world.
Bring: Each family brings and shares a dish (bit size pieces) from their
culture. Please make an index card that shows the country and continent
your dish is from.
